Very sadly, Filton People Community Group in its current form closed down at the end of March 2008 and was no longer able to offer services.
Do contact Filton Town Council, Southern Brooks Community Partnership or South Gloucestershire Council's area Community Engagement Officer for help in the areas Filton People used to cover.
Note well: As from our closure at March 2008, all our publications available from this website will start to become out of date and contact information may be wrong. Some publications such as the Over 60s Information Sheet have already not been updated for some years. Please allow for this if using these publications: check with The Care Forum's 'Purple Pages' to find more up to date contact details.
Below is a list of the more important publications we have produced since 1996. Our publications are generally free, but may be limited in numbers - contact our office number if you would like to know more. Our major reports should be available in Filton Library’s reference section, otherwise by special request from ourselves - we may make a charge. Our guides and newsletters are generally made available through Filton Library and Filton Leisure Centre, but those highlighted below may be available on this website

- Filton Profile Report (1996): The original community profile on which our subsequent work has been based.
- Filton People newsletter: A twice-yearly newsletter bringing local information to Filton residents.
Conygre Festival Report (2007): A report on the concept, planning, running and evaluation of this family festival, held at Filton Hill Primary School in September 2007.

- Report on Taxicard Schemes: A 2001 document researching and outlining the advantages of a taxi card scheme as part of a community transport strategy. These schemes incorporate commercial taxis into community transport groups to provide one-to-one trips, and can be a more financially viable alternative to dial-a-ride schemes. Only available on special request.

- A list of professional and other help available to Filton Groups (2006)
